The Korean skewers of Kochi have won a Michelin star and a top spot on Timeouts best restaurant in NYC list. Innovative and traditional, the restaurant promised to be one we’d return to again and again. But will we? We went for a birthday dinner last year, and have to share our thoughts.

Michelin-starred Rezdôra is a super trendy restaurant in NYC, featuring traditional cuisine of the Emilia-Romagna region. But is this restaurant worth the hype? And is the pasta worth the price? We went for lunch recently and here are our thoughts.

Given that it was our first spring in the city, and we hadn’t yet visited the New York Botanical Gardens, we decided to make it out there to see spring flowers in all their glory.

On our recent trip to Mexico, Michia wanted to do something really special: taking hot air balloons up over the ancient Teotihuacan pyramids special. I was initially hesitant, but ultimately decided that we should just go for it. And I’m so glad we did.
