20 Foods to Eat // Taipei, Taiwan
The number one thing most people will tell you to experience in Taiwan is the food, and there is a reason for this. The food is abundant, delicious, and can be super cheap. In this blog post, I’ve included a list of the must-try foods in Taipei, as well as where to get them.

City Travel Guide // London, England
Since moving to London a year and a half ago, I've gathered a list of my favorite things to do in London, including restaurants, museums, and iconic markets.
Le Palais: Taipei’s Longest-Standing 3 Michelin Star // Taipei, Taiwan
Located on the top floor of the Palais de Chine hotel, near Taipei’s Main Station, Le Palais was Taiwan’s only only three-star Michelin restaurant for five consecutive years. Despite hoping the restaurant would live up to the hype given that it’s run by a Hongkonger (aka, my people), it only lived up to three-star standards in price, not in flavor or creativity.

The most anticipated restaurant opening in Taipei in 2023, Chef Alain Huang’s Restaurant A opened late last year and serves fine-dining French food made with Asian techniques and influences.
Thailand meets Taiwan at COAST // Taipei, Taiwan
COAST is a modern restaurant in Taipei, combining Southeast Asian flavor with Taiwanese ingredients. Coast is part of MMHG (MUME Hospitality Group), a group led by Michelin-starred chef Richie Lin that is quickly becoming a favorite in Taiwan. Sharing a Lunch at Compartir // Barcelona, Spain
In 2014, three big names in gastronomy founded Disfrutar, a 2*-Michelin restaurant, in Barcelona. In 2022, they opened a sister restaurant, Compartir. We went there for lunch, and I think it will soon be either Bib Gourmand or earn a star.
Grilled Seafood, Vegetables, and Bread at Brat // London, England
Brat is one of those restaurants where the moment you walk in, you begin to celebrate food and chefs. The open kitchen welcomes you to watch turbots turned in cages over the flames, beef leaking fat as it sizzles on the grill, and breads being popped in and out of the pizza oven, then decorated with olive oil and anchovies.
African & Middle Eastern Asian Fusion at Jikoni // London, England
Asian Fusion is currently my favorite category of food, and Jikoni, a restaurant listed in every “What to eat in London” article I’ve read in recent months, does Asian Fusion with British, African, and Middle Eastern flavors. How could I say no?
Korean Skewers at Kochi // New York City
The Korean skewers of Kochi have won a Michelin star and a top spot on Timeouts best restaurant in NYC list. Innovative and traditional, the restaurant promised to be one we’d return to again and again. But will we? We went for a birthday dinner last year, and have to share our thoughts.
Gnocco Fritto and Pasta at Rezdôra // New York City
Michelin-starred Rezdôra is a super trendy restaurant in NYC, featuring traditional cuisine of the Emilia-Romagna region. But is this restaurant worth the hype? And is the pasta worth the price? We went for lunch recently and here are our thoughts.
